I hooked up all my stuff and my subwoofer only rumbles. I had this all hooked up in my BMW less than a year ago and it worked fine. I have the RCA cables hooked up right, as far as I can tell no shorts, and my fuses aren't blown or anything. Any ideas? Someone want to come over and check it? Im in warner robins.

Check to make sure it's wired correctly from the amp to sub! Could be crosswired anywhere in between the amp, box, and actual sub...causing the sub to hit with reverse polarity creating a shatty bass tone or what you're getting right now. Also check and make sure the box is sealed correctly and not blowing any mass amounts of air out! Crappy porting (as in holes and not actual ports) may also be a problem!

Got the wires straightened out. Helped a very little, but its still bad. Could it be bad RCA cables? Thats the only difference in my setup from last time, and they are old wires.

Ahh, could be! RCA cables have usually been the bulk of my problems when it came to my old system days! There can be a bad connection between them and the amp female or from the other side! I have mine wired into the rear 6x9's for easy trouble-shooting but definately swap those out and see if it makes a difference! Is it a big 'rumble' or just slight movement in the cone with no real pressure behind it? Put a friends sub in there and test to see if that sub works, and if you get the same thing, change out the RCA's! Again, if same thing, it might be the amp being fried or having some things loose on the inside!

what i would do is tune the frequency and everything on the amp. Just cuz it sounded good when it was in one car doesnt mean it will sound the same once put in another car. Tweek the settings on the amp and that should fix your problem
