emissions question

what was the year they started hooking the car up to the computer? for example if i have a 95 will they do the computer hook up or the exhaust test?

96+ is the OBD2- 95's are cool cuz they are still OBD1

83-95 sniffer test, 96+ Comp check, obd2. 2007,2006,2005 exempt(newest models get three year grace. til emissions is needed)

Most 95 model year cars have OBDII they just don't require computer testing for emissions.
