does anybodt know if i can destroke a b20 block with a b18 crank... and if so which rods i would have to use. I am looking to put a b20 in a ek or an eg hatch and need to know which crank to use. I know that by destroking it, it will rev alot higher but i just dont know which crank and rods to use.

the ls crank is the same as the crv crank 89mm stroke if i remember right. the b18c crank has a 87mm stroke. Id just use a gsr bottom end for high revving, bigger displacement purposes. Just keep in mind just bc u can rev an engine to 110000000 rpm dnt mean its gonna make power past 8500 rpm.

the b20 sleeves are knowing for cracking if u rev it too high as well if memory serves me right on that too.

questions: u want to go na or boost?
how much power u trying to make?
what kinda budget do u have to do this with.

Afew starter to get u on the road to the answers u really need.

if i remember right the rod journals are wider on the b20 crank so if you use the ls crank use ls rods....not he b20 rods...i dont know what kinda stuff you will run into with stroke and all that.
