I have a 1993 hb 240sx and i need a mechanic that works on these in the athens area, our local shop is currently closed and thesy used to do 240 work all the time.

I have a problem with the head lamps, i cant get the motors that raise and lower them to work. I checked the fuses and the wiring to the fuse box and it all looks ok, i think there's somthing wrong with the motors.

Doses anybody know anybody that works on 240sx's in the athens area besides Street Stuff (currrently closed)

its rare that BOTH motors go bad...check relays and all fuses.

i checked all the fuses , what are relays? i dont know that either of them are bad, i just know when i mash the button on the inside to lower/raise them they dont do anything. i do hear a clicking noise though

It could be that either the button itself, or the headlight switch (the stalk on the steering column) is bad. I've heard of those crapping out on a lot of S13s.

did you just buy the car...did this just start randomly happening?

if you look in your engine bay compartment there will be 2 fuses , i think 15amp ones...check those.

my headlight switch crapped out on me. Also try to manually raise and lower to make sure the motors arent stuck. The healight switch is like a $50 fix from advanced or orielly's
