so i know the majority of you have no clue as to what just went on but if you saw the doppler radar and you saw the purple epicenter of all the nasty weather we were about 5 miles outside of it in the reddish orange....the lightning hit outside the house and killed the big screen in one of the bed rooms and the pool flooded and we just watched the news and everywhere down around our warehouse in griffin/hampton area is wrecked...tomorrow is gonna be a crazy day cause we just had $5k worth of trees planted around the warehouse so hopefully they weren't uprooted and all the grass seeds i am sure are washed away now....anyone else experience this crazy tornado/thunderstorm weather?

It was insane. I sold at car at the varsity and we left heading south from there around 8:30 or a little after that...

We made it about 100 yards down 75/85 before we saw tons of flooding... we were in a old Diesel dogde 4x4 truck so we just kept driving but I saw 3 or 4 cars that were stuck in water... and I mean high water.

I saw a volvo in up the its windows on the side just before I-20 comes in. It was absolutely insane.

Yeah, it was a pretty good batch of storms last night. I was watching the radar and reading the NOAA weather bulletins.

here in columbus it looked pretty bad, but it was moving so fast no damage was done....

we have another one coming our way, and it's suppose to hit mobile head on, so I imagine it'll get pretty ugly here by this weekend or Monday.....sucks because we are so far south that we get any bad weather from the gulf area...

It got us. Tornado touched down in Milstead(which is where I live) and came over towards the house. When it got to the river behind my house, it got stopped. Our power flickered for about 2 minutes and then OFF. Rain started picking up and the howling of the wind got louder so we took off for the basement for about 30 minutes. That was fucked up. Later, QD.
