I paid fucking $4 and some change for some damn clips (and this is per clip). The bad part is the clip is less than an inch in size. What a rip off!!! But I needed and as left with no choice.

Those are actually not that expensive, since they're the same on MOST Hondas/Acuras. When I worked at the Honda Dealership I think I paid like $4 a piece or something so normal price can't be anymore than $7. BTW, they also sell them at O'Reilly Auto Parts in the the misc gadgets section for cheap.

compared to other car dealers honda/acura is very reasonably priced...especially over the net...i got a timing belt and waterpump from honda for cheaper than i could at advance autoparts...oem honda parts for cheap is ftw!!! i have no prob buying from honda since the prices are fair and sometimes cheaper and teh quality of parts is so much better

My question is why does parts from the dealer (local) cost more then the online honda dealers retail price (no the price they sell it for)? Dont retail price means "everywhere should be this price"?

i think they are bit more expensive at the local dealer due to them having to actually stock the item. When you buy it online its coming from a warehouse so they are not losing money becaue its from honda. The dealership is taking a risk buying parts for a ef because what are the chances someone is gonna come in and want door panels clips.. therefore you get the marked up price.

More than likely not the exact clip, but it wouldn't hurt to check them out and see if they have something that works as an alternative. 30 clips for $4 > 1 clip for $4:D
