Am I able to carry a skateboard onto a plane as a carry on? I've check tsa's website but under sporting goods it doesn't say anything about skateboards. Theres nothing sharp on it, unless I take out the screws and try to stab someone with them. I know some people on here skate and I am wondering if they have ever tried to carry there skateboard onto a plane. If so how did you get them to allow you or w/e you have to go through? :D

I use to work at the airport. people would bring complete decks on all the time. I dunno if the rules have changed since then but if you're scared about the trucks or hardware why not take it apart and just bring the deck on?

I just called Delta... not sure if I should bring my deck with me or not or I will just call Delta again cause the lady I spoke with doesn't seem like she even knows what a skateboard is..
