View Full Version : Door speakers quit working.

My door speakers in my car quit working. I tried testing the wires with an ohms meter w/out un hooking anything but the speaker. I dont know what setting to use, or what readings should come up. With the radio actually on, I pick up continuity. With it off, I do not. Should it be like that?? Or should I be getting something else, or testing with another setting. I'm about 80% sure my speakers are just fine. Havent had the chance to hook them up to anything else though to figure it out.

CD Player is fine, infact, its all fine. Wires were worn through under the dash, and touching, for both doors. Fixed it no problemo

Its all good. I been runnign with only rear speakers for the whole time. Which are blown, and I didn't feel like tearing them out. Now they're out haha, and awaiting me to buy new ones. I need a cheap ass 4 channel amp too.

1200 watts kenwood not old at all like 4months old... i paid 200smacks +tax for it so give me a price and we could work out something...

CRX< and its all fixed. yes its after market. No amp. as stated, the wirese were rubbed bare in the harness. I fixed them, it all works.

To much. Don't need but about 200w. No system. Just when i upgrade my components, i want to add an amp and do better wiring. No rush on it. jus teventually.
