I watched 28 weeks later a few days ago... along with the first one 28 days later

Honestly i would love if this shit came true....

I have the whole scenario planned out.... I would go into my closet get my MP5 (yes i have one) load that bitch up and go out my door...

steal a semi truck, go to the nearest store with guns and ammo, stock up. pick up a few people that i know wouldn't be zombies, because we have talked about this shit before...

pretty much blow our way threw bodys and load our truck up with food ( the whole trailer)

We all are X- military, my buddy mat is army, along with charlie, Trev is a marine. we know what we are doing, we all have our gear, and issued guns. We could pull off an escort/ point guard of the trailer as the 2 others did a point sweep of the building and gathered the food. load that shit up and we would be on our way. find a nice remote place with a basement, board that shit up tight hook up some cameras that i brought from my place... wait that shit out with our food and weapons, wait till all the zombies rotted away or starved to death. if we needed to go out we would to the sweep team style to the truck, and lock out place up tight again, and keep doing that as needed :D

and believe it or not, my buddy has chain mail neck guards and shit cus hes into the mid-evil stuff, so along with all of our military armour, vests and such, PLUS with the rest of our skin covered with chain mail, i feel we would be VERY well protected! and they are all my SUPER close friends, have been with them since middle school, trust them with my life...

I feel that we would make an superb team to find and rescue people along with staying alive and possibly making a small safe camp :goodjob:






Anyone else think about shit like this? not just zombies, but like stuff in general, like what would you do? if you would trapped on an island? or if zombies came real? Explain :goodjob:

Keep a Melee weapon in hand, a machete sounds good, incase something happens to the ammo. I would try to pick a government building like a police detention center or something simimler. They usually come with cameras and the doors are fully automated, and I do belive they come with generators, and weapons. as your on the run, stop by a grocery store, and use their delivery truck to empty them out of their Canned foods, cereal, Waters, than Sodas if there are Any room, basically anything that wont parish within a years time span. Keep in mind liquor would be a GREAT asset in this case. you can use it to clean up any wounds, drink it... use it in traps.. and so on.I would have picked a hospital as a shelter.. but it wont be as fortified as the police detention center.

i see some of you are big on this 18 wheeler theme, seems like a good plan until you've tired yourself out filling up an entire trailer with food, that now rots on the side of the road because you have no fuel for your truck due to electrically automated fuel pumps. also remember that the undead hunt primarily by sound and any vehicle will undoubtedly send every zombie within the tri-county area stumbling your way. a reasonable amount of food is an excellent idea to carry with you until you can become self-sufficient in growing/gathering your own food. keep in mind exhaustion is your worst enemy when fleeing or fighting the undead and carrying unneeded food is an excellent way to make yourself totally useless.


Everyone seems to be talking about fleeing to distant islands or other places they deem safe, well have fun getting there. why needlessly cross hundreds of miles of land just to end up in a place you know nothing about. The best option is to secure and fortify an area you feel safe in as close as possible. the ability to know your surroundings inside and out will always give you an advantage over the enemy seeing as they show no ability to think or reason.

You would wanna go some where that you would have good range of view. Also, thats why they have these things called maps so you can know the terrain.

yeah, it would work a few times maybe.

personally im going with an m1 garand, and .45 pistol (with silencer) and machete as side arms. the m1 is easy enough to manuver around with, yet still packs enough punch to destroy the brain in one or two shots. there is NO other way to kill a zombie than destroy the brain, it is the only thing still "living". no matter how badly the rest of the body may be destroyed the zombie will trielessly continue an attack until completly destroyed.

Being military doesn't mean shit - and what if they don't need to feed on people to keep going? What if the only way to kill them was a bullet through the head, where heavy artillery is useless. These were all points brought up in the book ( it's a GREAT novel, with a movie being made off of it )

Awhile back I posted a link to a military silo in the mountains in NY that was a pretty nice facility. Winter = cold = slower moving zombies hopefully.
