Best Buy Car Show...need advice

Long story short i made the suggestion to have a car show next month and have a local place cater etc..see how the turn out goes. Ive got some of the locals comming out so far and a few of the project motorsports crew...but i need as many people as possible and I need suggestions as to what would make this even poppin! Anything and everything will be useful! Remember its a family enviornment, so it has to be tasteful. But loud music, fast and good looking cars, and having fun is encouraged...Im shooting for mid to late weekend of July. Obviously no confirmed date b/c this was okay'd this afternoon and i dont want it to flop..

We've got the insurance side covered I believe but suggestions on that will be also considered.

well obviously the more planning the better. you are gonna want to check all other boards and forums for other shows that are going on. you don't want to have a show/meet the same day as 3 or 4 other ones. p'tree city is a nice area and i know if you give me and elite enough notice we can rep it hard for you as well. we have quite a few members on the southside. keep us updated bro.

Kewl it'll be good to see them again. IPG has been good to many of ELITE this past year. Great work and I'm sure they can hand out some flyers and stuff too once you get that going. Give us some primo parking spots and we'll rep the heck out of u! lol

Outstanding! I am vp of a car club (Street stylez ATL) and the officers and myself were discussing doing a Best Buy show. However you beat us to the punch and that is 100% cool! We are actually putting on a car show on June 23rd at Hooters in Gwinett. This being the 2nd of many shows we plan of putting on. If you need any help just let me know. I have a guy you may be interested in using for trophies, and other people for various purposes. Also if you or anyone else is interested, the show we are putting on is going to be from 11am-3pm. Registration is $25 and there are ALOT of trophies to be had in ALOT of classes. Again man, if there is anything we can do to help you along with getting your show up and running we would be more than happy to sit down and help make it happen, as well as bring a few cars to fill some spots at the show!
