So I have been looking at getting an lcd TV for my house. I don't want anything large maybe just a 30-32 inch. I've been on craigslist and ebay. What gets me now is that some people do the $0.99 for a TV and then $40 shipping. There is no reserve and they are power seller status.

What gets me is--you think this is a scam. I mean it has to be. There's no way they could sell a tv for $0.99. So if they are scamming...how do they get their power selling and status to be top-notch?

Is that all part of the scam too?

Just curious has anyone ever bought a TV off of ebay or computer or something that looked shaddy but ended up being a good buy?

You sure you're not looking at the WALL MOUNTS for the TVs? I just Ebay searched for 32" LCD TV and came up with a shit load of wall mounts for $.99 with about $40 shipping. Later, QD.

I bought my LCD Hyundai off of ebay from a local seller and it was a good buy.

I guess you're right. I wouldn't think of doing that auction. Later, QD.

it's $51 cause the auction has a week left. it'll stay relatively low until about an hour before the auction ends, then it'll jump a couple hundred. i mean it'll still be well below retail, if you're lucky enough to get the last bid in(some people have scripts for this kind of stuff though, so you might get fucked)
