i didnt mind the no burnout thing, i love it when there is peace and quiet.
i think its good that the cops are supervising, but i know they are there for all of the wrong reasons... i.e bad coverage in the media

if they were there to just keep things under control i would be cool with it... but when 4 cops are escorting a cameraman through the crowd (which all of me and my friends hopped in front of, flicked off the camera and walked away... hope it makes it on the news) is just plain wrong

jesus christ, u are just one walking living contradiction aren't u? u think there's bad coverage in the media, so u and ur little dipshit friends jump in front of the camera and flick it off? did u fall off the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down?

I thought it was pretty nice to be able to hang out and not worry about anything stupid happening. It was quiet and didn't smell like nasty burnt tires.:lmfao:

I don't think the cops bothered anyone, they were just making their presence known to discourage people from doing dumb shit.

Wish I had felt better... and a little smaller crowd would have be nice too. It should die down a little after this though.

I'm glad the cops were there. Like everyone else said, they weren't harassing or bothering anybody. They were just walking around, and really just making their prescence known so that nobody would do any burnouts or anything and i'm soooooo glad they were there. I could care-less about the media. I wonder what they're going to say now about the meets. do u understand? if so then why would u question it? it is PRIVATE PROPERTY. do u want ppl loitering in ur front yard whether u are home or not? i mean sure they might or probably won't do anything, but what if they did? point is, there might very well be NO harm in letting u stay, but if u don't, then there won't be a CHANCE even of any harm.

I'm 100% glad that the people called and complained. Whatever it took to get those V-Meets even close to halfway worth a shit. If no one had've called and complained, there would still be idiots up there doing that stupid shit. Props to all who complained and the APD for hanging out. To me, it seems that are promoting the burn-outs and the idiocy that goes on up there. If you want that, then why don't you buy yourself a parcel of land, pave it and then you can have your own burn-out meets and such.

I thought the cops did an excellent job. They were very courteous, they simply asked me if I was there for the meet and if I had a parking pass yet. After that, i circled the parking lot at least 3 times and ran into the same cop who gave me the pass. I told him I couldn't find a spot. He told me to do one more lap, and if I still couldnt find a spot, then he'd find one for me. I have no problems with the cops and if they keep making their presence known, I'll probably start showin up to more of these.

After speaking to the cops and Varsity management, they are COOL with the meet. They just want to stop the idiots and enforce laws that are broken.

It wasn't tense at all to me and I PARKED in the lot where the cops walked by for 4 hours.

Some of you blame the burnout guys yet you go and WATCH, which means you ENDORSE it.

The meet was great, large, orderly and I met a lot of new people.

After 10pm, the 1/2 painted cars and 80% are Hondas come and they screw up a peaceful meet.
