Either his or mine, we haven't talked about which to drive. Both are pretty easy to spot. We live so close to the venue, I don't know how much it matters who drives :lmfao:

i know its kind of short notice but does anyone know where i can get tickets for the show???? you think it would be worth it to drive up to the arena and see if there's anyone selling tickets outside?

If you're willing to pay an arm and a leg.....

not necessarily, i went to the NIN concert two years ago that had been sold out and only ended up paying something like $15 over regular price for GA tickets

Revmaynard
06-04-2007, 04:26 PM
Yea, I head you can get them like two for $120-$150, which isn't too bad depending on if you care about it enough. I got mine the day before through the Tool Army, so I paid $65, but I was guaranteed tickets.

Would have been cool to see them again, but it's just getting too damn expensive. First time I saw them in 96 it was hella cheap and in a small club. One of the best shows I've ever seen!

Revmaynard

I would bet, I know a guy who has seen them eight times, six times in small clubs in L.A.

Anyone want my memory of the set list?

-Jambi
-Stinkfist
-46&2
-Schism
-Rosetta Stoned
-Pushit
-Wings for Marie
-10,000 Days
-Lateralus
-Vicarious

Revmaynard
06-05-2007, 12:28 AM
They played for two hours though. I think it was totally worth it, the only other concert I think was a good was the Pixies or Zwan.

i saw them in birmingham last weekend. i had 4th row tickets bc my girl is amazing.
it was by far the best concert ive ever seen. although they didn't play the pot

you are not educated, 3/4 of the songs were 8-10 minutes long. its like playing 5 songs at a pink floyd concert, any more would take 24 hrs to complete. This concert was by far out of a shit load ive been to THE BEST concert EVER. Lighting, Sound, Everything. I could have played that drum solo with one testicle in mid air and that kinda made me mad but other than that, the drummer is incredible. i was about 20 rows back front and center

Me and the girl were up one level right on the front and directly to the left of the stage. Kinda glad we didnt have floor because the lighting effects they had on the stage floor itself were fucking bad ass!! Lasers FTMFW!!! Show was Grade fucking A.... i saw APC there too... that was also a great show.
We got pretty good parking too, not far from the front.... but the downside was that it took us 45+min to get out of there.

There was someone selling a ticket for half price for a little while; no one bought it. Gwinnett Arena rarely has anyone trying to sell or buy tickets; therefore, if you show up trying to buy tickets it is rare that you will find someone to sell them.

The concert was ok, but they took way too many breaks. Play for eight minutes and sit for fifteen.

i only noticed the one break before schism i think it was, took like 5 minutes, but this is actually musicians that know how to play their instruments, and coming from their point of view i dont mind a break in a show as long they got stuff going on like they did.

It was bad ass but wtf was up with the opening band? Melt a banana anyone? My ears we not ready to hear that when I stepped into the building.

Anyway, the opening was badass and there were some fine hoes.

BTW, did anyone notice how there was NO ONE at the 99x booth and everyone was 15' away at the 96.1 booth.

Yea, I heard you before I saw you going down the road to the Boggs Rd. exit past all of us in the traffic on the ramp to 85 South.

JennB
06-05-2007, 06:09 PM
We laughed at everyone sitting in traffic.... we were home no more than 5 minutes after that. :taun:

(I know, it sucked. I'm sorry)

Revmaynard
06-05-2007, 08:15 PM
Yea, my friends car was overheating so we had to sit in traffic with the fucking heat on full blast. Fuck his Saturn.

Who was the opening band?

Revmaynard
06-06-2007, 01:10 AM
Meltbanana, some Jap rock band. Apparently they've been around since '92.

SPOOLIN

lol

If 85 hadn't been fucked, i might have gotten in trouble. I had some ghetto ass SUV ...black, chrome and boat anchors all over my ass from Sugarloaf all the way down the exit ramp.. i was soooooo about to throw my drunk at his black ass. But his retarded ass went and sat in traffic and i took the rest of the access rd to Boggs and got off and jumped on Satellite... which was pretty much empty.

That was the greatest show I've been to. Too bad I didn't see any of you guys up there.

Revmaynard
06-06-2007, 02:51 PM
Yea, I thought at first the sound quality would have helped Meltbanana sound better, but I searched them up on Myspace Music and they're just as bad but not as loud.
