I don't think seafoam would help, maybe I'm wrong. It just cleans out your engine frm all that crap in there. Have you tried a different ecu since readiness codes are usually from the ecu being unplugged?

We dont have emissions here in macon. But I have heard of people cleaning out all the carbon in there motor and being able to pass emissions. Using sea-foam of course, they sell it at Napa auto parts stores.
bout 4 or 5$ a bottle.

...you can put it in the gas tank too.

Find an advanced auto near the emission place. Get them to clear all codes from the ecu, also pull ecu fuse for 1 minute.

most of the time it is an oxygen sensor. On both of my cars last time I went through it was a bad o2 sensor. put a new one and in passed.

Sea-foam isnt gonna do anything for him, unless there is a problem with ivac or something similar in the intake track. Simply unplugging the ecu before you go to the emission place isnt going to do anything eithier, because he wont pass readiness. There is obviously wrong with the car because your passing readiness.A car has to pass of its readiness test for it to pass emissions. Go get a diagonstics test done (i would get it done at a repair shop because thier scan-tools can ussaly tell more then a parts store) see y the car hasnt passed readiness then go from there. i doubt its the ecu but you never know.

i failed in my wrx for same reason. I left my battery unplugged for like 2 hrs while i put in my system. I put like almost 200 miles on the car and went back and passed. Maybee you havnt finished the cycle yet?
