I saw it too one Saturday night up in Kennesaw. I have some shitty cell phone pics of it that I will post. It was truly the hottest car I have ever seen in person. You could tell that it had some hard miles on the engine though. What do you expect though? I'd drive the hell out of it too. It was a Nismo GTR vspecII Skyline Nur edition. We're talking a Nismo bodykit, 6 pot brembo calipers, gigantic volk time attacks(with Toyo R888 race tires not legal here yet), limited edition Recaros, and numerous HKS goodies. If there is 100K under the hood and only making 468whp he's an idiot. I've done that several times with stock motors. The car is nice but I'm in the group that doesn't care. There are quite a few more than 14 in the country. The true NUR's are more rare but still not a car I'm going to grab a towel over. Its a beautiful car but not worth the status some people give it. Once you own one you will understand my point, until then your welcome to hold the car in such high regard. The simple fact is that they are heavy and don't handle very well. I turn faster lap times in my car than a friend of ours who brings his GTR to the NASA track days. Its all in what your looking for and what you want. If you want an overpriced car so all the fan boys will be on your nuts then buy a GTR and deal with the pain of owning one. If you want a real car that can perform well then save your money and hassles and buy a better car. I don't think they're over rated because I don't understand the cars, I think it because I understand them more than you. You nut over the car because you see them in magazines and on TV, I deal with them every day. I have a 500+whp R34 sitting here in my shop that I can drive whenever, its not that special. I have a 450whp R32 that I can drive too, its not that great either. The R33 will be done shortly with at least 700whp on a 2.8L Tomei Stroker, you know what, that won't be anything to jizz over either. When you graduate from fanboy status and actually do something other than drool on a car then you can speak to the people who truly know them and say we just think they're over rated. As I said previously, if you want to impress 16-20yr old BOYS, buy a Skyline R32/33/34 GTR. If you want to really make a statement in the real world, get something else.

With that said, I'll take a look at the new GTR when it comes out. However, it will have to improve itself greatly over the previous models for me to give it a look.

I find that hard to believe. Given the reports I have been reading, that is not the case. They are trying to use that 997TT as a model, but handing a 480hp 911 turbo its ass is not an easy thing to do.

I think GTRs are amazing machines but they are WAY over rated. If I had to choose I would take a tuned S15 over a GTR any day of the week. But also if I was LOADED I would own an R34 GTR V-Spec nur.

The only good thing about the Rotary motor is they use so much oil you don't need to hange it. Just dump a quart or two in per month and change the filter every three months:D . Oh and you can rev the living shit out of them.

20B from Mazda was rated at 280bhp twinturbo, but it *can* be deturbo'ed and tuned and make over 300 at the flywheel. It was never offered as a n/a motor.

26BR was Mazda's race only engine. Though a few people have mated 2 13B engines together, but it is still NOTHING like the 26BR which was capable of making well over 700hp, but was restricted to a little more then 500hp.
