I have a '62 Falcon, straight 6 with a C4. I was thinking maybe we could get an old school thread started and B/S and maybe swap parts etc.

I'm looking for a granada brake setup and a rear end with at least 3.73 gears and a posi-trac that will fit my Falcon. I'd like to get a 8" since its just a 6 cyl that should be plenty strong and lighter than a 9". I'd consider a 7.5 if it had a posi and it was cheap.

I own a 78 nova at the moment going though an engine upgrade and switching out to a posi 3.73 rear end. Also have a 54 Hudson, 65 mustang, and a 66 Chevy II sitting in the garage. Oh and a 454 block but thats for later.

I've always wanted an early Chevy II. But I've always wanted a Falcon too and now I have one.:bannana:

I'm gonna go through the 6 cyl in the coming months. Maybe add a cam and a 2 barrel carb, port the head and have it decked .050 or so :goodjob:

I need to find a place that has a bunch of older American iron close to Athens. I go to Pull-a-Part in ATL sometimes for engine parts. Since my engine is a late model 7-main 200 they have plenty of parts for the engine/transmission. But its getting to the point where I will need chrome and interior stuff that I won't be able to get there

When our family was into old cars...too expensive now:

1939 Chevy-pink-Pinky
1940 Ford-red-Big Red
1958 Chevy SS Impala-white-Casper
1963 Ford Galaxy Z Code-orange-never named it, just bought and sold it.

stock ratio. no posi.

Do you know what the ratio is though? Because it could be anything from 2.90 to 4.11 and be stock gearing.
