Where would a person find aftermarket plastics for a bike? Lets say you had a 95 model gsxr but didnt like the tail piece so you wanted 99+ plastics? Where would you get it? After you put it on would all you have to do is rewire the tailight?

The first thing you should do is compare the fairing bolts locations and shapes on the two bikes. Looking at photos:
1.The frames are very different
2. The 99 has more fairing bolts (which means you'll have to rig brackets to the 95 somehow)

It looks like the tail might fit ok. Either way, its goign to take some mod work. Bring a tape measure!

he is right i would bring a tape measure or if you are good at engineering some brackets because i thought that since the 929 and 954 look a little similar that i would be able to put the 954 tail on my 929 but after buying a 954 subframe and tail found out that i would have to cut the two up and make one to make them fit but you might just have to make some brackets
