95 is OBD1. I can only test on OBD2 cars. Sorry!

Many 95 GM vehicles have an OBD II port. Check your port shape. [____] the square shape is gm OBD I, \_____/ angled like that is an OBD II plug in. Any Autozone can check OBD II, granted your check engine light is on.
