In my sig

1996 GMC Sierra, 5.7 350 V8, Z71, 4X4, 4 inch rancho suspension lift, 3 inch body lift (done clean hiding any gaps.), 35 inch bfgoodrich all terains, cobra 40 channel CB

To give you a good idea of how tall it sits. Im 5'10 and when I stand straight up the top of the truck bed is at the top of my shoulders.

On the way...
104 inch cb whip, PA system, (maybe 3 inch straight pipes)...and 1 new tire

Ya so was playing in an area and ran over a nice buried tree that snapped and busted an 8 inch hole in my right front tire. 35's= $300+ for a new tire...gotta love my truck. Im not too sad about it considering I was in the "got a new lifted truck and want to mud hard" kinda mood for the past 2 weeks so I new something was bound to happen sooner or later. Still kinda pissed though.

Just too much cash need to get the speed I wanted. its a beautiful one car though. I plan on buying another convertible when I have the money and throwing the twin turbo swap on that bitch. none the less beautiful car. I was just born redneck south so I thought it was time to have a little fun.

Its just running 35's, its not that high up, and they dont cost $300 each. Your getting ripped a new one if you pay that! Then again I live in North Ga and I see this every day!

Nevermind!

Pretty good savings right there....huh? The BFG's AT are crap anyways, put some milage on them and just sit and wait for them to start vibrating. The tread life on them is pathetic to!

i never said i paid $300... i am still on the tires that came when i bought the Jeep new. 35" Pro Comp Xterrain tires. Awsome tires both on and off road and i will get them again when need be. They have great sidewall flex when slightly air down and handle great at normal PSI.

NSCredondo i am going to be down in Columbus Friday through Monday so if u know some places to go shoot me a PM. I am tired of the same few spots around here.

I was going to the same spot but its just pussy crap so I wouldnt suggest it. As for tires I was thinking of going up to 38's or so, so I havent done much research. Thanks for the ebay tip though.

if you want 38's you're gunna have to re-gear the truck and get fenders that will fit those tires. as for tires i say get the mickey thompsons rock crawlers. they are a bit more expensive but good ass tires. also how does it ride having that body lift? i say go all suspension FTW :goodjob:

Rides like a regular truck...I have been in big trucks and usually they are kinda rough and shit but this one rides VERY nice. And I like the body lift a little only cause of the fact that when I save the money to buy a real nice daily (old corvette, mustang, whatever) that is nice and dependable I am lifting with an 8 inch suspension and running like 44's. But for a daily driver I like BFgoods they dont make ANY noise really and are basically brand new. Also I really havent had time to buy any good exterior stuff but bushwackers were on the list for fender flairs. The tires hang out about 4 inches on each side. But the body lift dosent me that much because all the gaps that it causes is covered in diamond plate to hide it all. Thanks for the tip on the 38's though bro.

Damn that shit is nice as hell. If I got 38's then I really wouldnt mind hacking at the wheel wells a bit. I know a little about welding but I have a friend that could do some body work so cutting a little out of the wheel well to make it wider for 38's is no big deal. It is my DD truck but I mean it also my weekend worrior (SP). I have a jeep as back up just incase I break anything but as far as that goes I really dont mind hacking at the body or anything like that. If it will help the car look better and perform better than why not. Im not really going for the "Im a redneck gangster with the lifted truck that has never seen mud." I thought of going that route but it just seemed a little pointless. Other than throwing my old system in there (2 alpine type R's...lol) it will be a nice little truck. And I guess you can tell it has seen mud lol. Oh and BTW I get my new tire put on tomorrow.

Props for using a lifted truck the way it is supposed to. I HATE seeing dudes with lifted trucks on huge tires that have never been mudding/hit trails.
