brake pad question

I have cross drill and slotted rotors for the front. Does it matter what kind of brake pad I put on there. Do they require a certain type of pad. Please help I will be buying them this week for the install next weekend.

They dont really require a certain pad, but slotted rotors will usually eat pads alittle faster than others.

thanks for the info. what type of pad would last longer that others. or isn't there one.

ceramic. What car is this for? Only takes about 30 minutes max to change the pads -- i'd rather have better braking vs. a longer lasting pad :dunno:

^agreed.you might aswell forget about longevity and get a good stopping pad.
