Anyone put fans on ur new TV's?

I just bought a LCD Flat Screen I just want to take car of it. Unlike computers, this tv doesn't have a fan (i don't see or hear anything). I was thinking of getting a little fan from wal mart or something to place behind it to keep the air moving through the tv.

Is this a good or bad idea?

i never knew computer monitors had fans in them... but, i guess it couldnt hurt anything by doing that, but i dont think it's really necessary

yeah but those don't cool the display...

does your TV get really hot when it's on?

most flats get pretty hot. i say it wouldnt hurt maybe it will make it last longer maybe.
