OK IA, Recently installed a Skunk 2 IM on my near stock gsr and I lost TOO MUCH low end. Now it seems like i have a STOCK single cam in first and second gears. i really want some low end back. what do you guys (and girls) suggest. i really dont want to do too much though( i plan on having a motor built when i get the money) what would be a good upgrade that wouldnt be too hard to do?

Swap out the GSR Tranny for a B16. Or maybe you fucked something up.

how about get that thing tuned? the skunk2 im is about the same as an itr IM - maybe a little bit better... it shouldn't lose any low end at all. so get your butt dyno recalibrated! :P

stock gsr=iab
skunk2 im=no iab
stock ecu=different fuel mapping for stupid iab and differnt mapping for more restrictive intake manifold.

moral=socketed/chipped ecu and tuning

Idle air bypass.

intake air butterfly.

gsr/h22 intake manifolds have a chamber with a plate inside that is open/closed via an actuator that is controled electronically and vacuum.

worthless in my opinion.

It's not worthless. As TUNERS looking for more power yes... but it does what Honda deisgned it to do, and works appropriately.

here's a question... since a sk2 im port is 62mm is your tb 60mm or 62mm? cause if your tb is 60mm well it's reall not helping that much. air turbulance. and what header do you have? if you want to help you low/mid a 4-2-1 2pc header works wonder and helps out alot.

i was told a 4-2-1 1pc is the best for low end power.

i was told a 4-2-1 1pc is the best for low end power.yes, it true and they can but quite expensive, but you probly can find one cheap my problem is i have 2 many headers and not enough cars for them. i'm waiting to get my Bisimoto header soon. lol. sorry, don't ask if i'm selling any cause i'm not and i'm not trying to break any rules. oh look it's a uber-rare F1 EF steering wheel. lol.
