I may not b helpful, but i just pieced together my own turbo kit for my F series engine. and actually got all the parts off ebay.either used 'bid' or new 'buy it now'
that way i got the best of both worlds.instead of 1 main part ex: greddy or sumthn.got bits and peices of everything/every1.lol :goodjob: boosted SOHC ftw

CHEAPEST manifold=civic dx header w/ adapter, piping=muffler shop, intercooler= starion front mount, management=contact scottydb11, and then when you blow your motor cuz you want the cheapest stuff ill give you 200 for your car!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO STUFF RIGHT THE 1ST TIME!!!

i don't think your motor would blow if you cheap out on certain parts... just make sure you get the correct fuel management and a good tune. cheap parts might not last as long though. if you want cheap parts, i got an ssac externally wastegated turbo manifold with a t3 flange for sale. $80. I cheaped out on my sohc and it lasted 2 years daily driven and daily abused at 11 psi, then again it was a y8 bottom end...

Fuel management will be key. I offer everything to build a kit, but advise that you do plenty of research before making any purchases in general.

turbo prices dont really matter if you dump the bulk of your money into TUNING and FUEL parts if you ever come to the meets on the southside at full throttle talk to shane he has a boosted del sol can def set you straight on what to buy expect to spend around 2k for a decent setup that wont let you down.

Best advice in here! Build speed around a car AND driver that can handle it......

Nuff said!

And yes, come to the southside meets, we'll steer you in the right direction on stuff if you have questions...Plus we'll introduce you to people who can do a lot of the work (installing, mocking up intercooler piping and welding, tuning, etc for you for good prices!)

HEY asshole. that car wont be fast enough to need "good brakes" lol. so that is bad advice.

60-0 in 50ft. lol

lol i beg to differ on the not going to be fast enough to need good brakes. I got a boosted Single Cam and am probably going to be parting ways with it, to move on to bigger and better things. So if you are interested in buying a good used kit and/swap I got a fresh d15b block with all the injectors and everything from intercooler piper, evo style front mount, with a Turbonetics T3/T4 50 trim turbo and a Turbonetics Evolution wastegate... check out my for sale forum in the Acura Honda parts section. you can see pictures... and yeah Tuning is where you are going to be spending money but it will be worth it. You can talk to Scotty at mainstream... he chips/sockets/tunes for a decent price and it's worked out thus far. anyways if you have any questions ... feel free to shoot me a PM I was in your position once ;) I know what its like!

what you need is a t3 turbo - whatever kind you find, all are good for a stock D block turbo setup. You'll need 450cc injectors to past the 170WHP barrier of the stock injectors. Those 450s you can find for cheap (50 bux) and you'll need a resistor box as well (30 bux) - or wire four individual resistors 10ohm 10watt to each injector. The stock fuel pump will be ok for the abilities of the stock block.

do not buy ssac turbo or manifold, unless you have extra money for replacement in two months or so

T3/T4 turbo is a good choice if you plan to build up the block in the future

you may need ARP headstuds.

you can chip your ECU and use Crome to tune with for cheap/free, or pay somebody to do it for ya (tuning can be expensive)

now start with the search at .D-series.org and .turboD16.com

good luck
