I hate when kimbo fights get posted because it's usually some 130 pound guy that's never been in a fight that says kimbo isn't shit.

He is a boxer...he's not an MMA fighter. If you watch how he moves..he's fast for his size. Not to mention he is bare knuckle. That shit hurts hitting people without having gloves on.

Anyway....thanks for posting the video. It's always neat to watch him fight.

Its not like you feel it when you hit people bare knuckled. Your usually hyped off adrenaline. Weight don't have shit to do with being able to fight well. Any great 130lb. fighter can whoop on some 200lb. newbie.

And you can't discredit people based on weight either. I weigh (currently) 142lb. 8.6% body fat. Wrestled for 2 1/2 years in high-school, and I recently started doing MMA. Because I'm 142lbs. means I know less than some guy that weighs 160lbs?

Kimbo can fight, but he can't fight extremely well. How many of his fights last more than 4-7 min.? Being a good fighter means a lot more than knowing how to throw a half-decent punch. He gets gassed, he gets sloppy. Yea he changes his levels, but he only changes between 2 different levels. He doesn't throw coordinated combos that change based on what hits and what doesn't. I'm not trying to claim being some fighting guru because I'm not. I don't even fight on a regular. I'm just saying, Kimbo's fights are all chicken shit fights.

I don't like him, so my response is biased, but still, who agrees?

...I have done martial arts for 18 years. I have been running a martial arts school for the past 5 years. I am not a recent "noob" when it comes to fighting. I'm not some poser that jumped on the MMA bandwagon within the past year or so. Not saying you are...but there are a lot.

His fights only last a couple of minutes because he usually knocks the shit out of the person. He'll be fighting a MMA fight in June against another boxer so we'll get to see how well at MMA he does.

Kimbo is a big mother trucker. not only that but he moves fast, his strikes are quick and just looks like a mean guy.

I wouldn't mess with him.

hes not a bitch by any means, but he wouldn't fare well in ufc in my opinion. not because he can't fight, but because he's a bare-knuckle street boxer. repeat:boxing, not mma. he needs grappling sport training if he's gonna be any good in mma fights, otherwise he's gonna get dominated by a seasoned ufc/pride fighter. look at that old fight vs gannon(pudgy white dude), kimbo got molested by someone with real mma training and gannon couldn't even use elbows/knees and probably wasn't allowed to do real submissions. like he got all pissed cause someone hit him while he was down, that shit doesn't fly in ufc. he's gonna get taken down and have the fuck elbowed out his face.
