test it for a vacuum leak first, then go from there

if there is no vac leak, readjust the throttle position. it has a small jam nut on it, loosen it and turn it down a bit.

how do you test for vac leaks i checked and i am missing a vacuum line that goes to the valve cover and i have to vac lines goin to a small cimpondezilyou search for hissing sounds, then gently wiggle every single vacuum hose checking for changes in noises.

When did this start and was there any work done on the car prior to it doing this?

1st thing is to check the coolant level. If it's a B series and the coolant level is low it will idle high. DO not assume it's a vacuum eleak right away. If you have coolant, then make sure that the cap is good - any amount of extra air in the system will confuse the sensors and ECU.

I checked out all the hoses and non have leaks or anything but on the inside of the tb the rubber pieces that are suppose to be in the two holes are missing could that be causin high idle

haha yes, the idle write up has once again saved another engine from poor idling qualities!
