I am selling my completely bone stock 1997 San Marino Red Honda Prelude Type SH. The car has a 2.2L DOHC V-TEC engine (H-22) with a close ratio 5spd. manual transmission. The car has about 122k highway miles (12k miles/year) and still runs very strong. It is in IMMACULATE condition inside/out. The exterior is in good condition with the original paint. Just recently I went over the exterior with a clay bar and then with some zaino's polish. The car has always been washed atleast once a week and has been garage kept. The inside is in MINT condition with no rips or tears at all. The car is frequently vacuumed out and the previous owner and myself were both non smokers. Maintenance wise everything is up to date. In January the car was idling really rough and i took it to honda and it received a new egr valve and a full tune up which was done under the extended emissions warranty. The car was given a new egr valve, ignition wires, distributor cap, spark plugs, and some other stuff. Also, i put some new OEM honda brake pads on the back and i believe the brake pads up front are about 6 months old. The timing belt was also done on time at about 78k miles through honda. All the recalls have also been performed on the car through honda. There are no check engine lights or anything like that and this car will probably not need anything for a very long time. I also have all the other maintenance records since 1999 which has been documented consistently. The tires which are all season high performance kumho ecsta asx, are still under a 30k mile warranty. I have only driven about 17k miles on them. The car to my knowledge has only been in one minor fender bender which occured with the previous owner in a walmart parking lot. The rear bumper was repainted since it was scuffed up. this however does not show up on car fax or autohistory. I have a copy of both reports which are available upon request. These cars are extremely rare to find, especially the type sh's since they all either have high miles, have been riced, or have a salvage title. All offers near $8k will be entertained. the price is negotiable. I honestly havent seen very many clean preludes in augusta or even atlanta. they are definitely hard to come by. It took me forever to find this one and i had to haggle ALOT with the price and even then i had to detail the crap out of it to make it look good.
