these aren't bikes i'm selling but rather bikes around town that i've had friends mention for me to keep in mind, figured i'd pass on the word since it's starting to get warm. i'd normally let people do their own advertising, but all of these bikes are a damn good value for the price...

07 gsx-r 600 black and black, $7500 1000 miles
06 gsx-r 750 blue and white, $7500 1500 miles
old school supersport - 96 RF600 Suzuki $1800 15,000,000 miles (a lot?)

anybody insterested in any of these bikes just drop me a PM or post up and i can send you the contact info.

I am new to the Bike thing. What is determained alot miles for a bike. How many miles should be put on a bike a year?

I look at it like this. 100k is Alot of miles for a car, so 25k is alot of miles to a bike. I use that formula. At 15k my bikes thermostat went out, at 18k needed all new spark plugs and the motor vibating them all out,at 20k the slave clutch cyclinder went out, at 25k I needed a total motor rebuild. This was a yamaha. Yamaha needs valve adjustments at 25k also,, susuki need it at 15k.

Not necessarily true. Different models and years vary on their adjustments.

Like a car, it totally and completely depends on how well the bike is maintained. The reason you don't see more old bikes on the road is because they are toys to most people (and people like new toys).

Its the same reason you don't see a bunch of 1980's era ferraris around.

15k is about two years worth of riding. Young for a bike.

In 03, I bought a 03 with 15k on it. By 05 it had 25k on it.
