Me and my girlfriend are finally moving out. We got a townhome a few miles away from my house and we sign the lease tomorrow morning.

We'll start moving everything in tomorrow when I get off work.

Now, if anybody has any furniture they don't want anymore... :D

Congrats man, good luck to the two of you. My girlfriend and I moved out together this past December, and its been great. Ive enjoyed being able to spend time with her a little each day.

Let Target and WalMart be your friend. They always have great deals.

Robbie if you want I know how to make tables, chairs, and shelves out of nothing but cardboard. They look good too, its not like boxes placed on top of eachother either. lol I'll show you how if you want.

IKEA is your friend :)

I was reading responses till I got to the end to post the same thing. Ikea is, by far, the cheapest around, for good furniture. And good-looking furniture. Later, QD.

I'd look at the link I just gave you. The prices are unbelievable for what you would think. The prices are also listed on the site. Seriously. Later, QD.

Some of the stuff is cheaply made but if taken care of can last just as long...they even have a returned/damaged section in the corner of the bottom floor for better deals. some is just minor scuffs and they have stacks and stacks of dirt cheap random raw material and hardware to make your own things.

Worst thing you could do at the age of 19Some people are ready before others. If he can sustain his lifestyle and he's happy, I say go for it.

Congrats on the move man! When can Team SimpleMinded come bust it up with a house-warming party? :D

Yeah, I'm aware of what I'm about to face. Let's just say I've been through a lot in the past few months, and me and my girlfriend need to get out on our own.

Let me put it this way, right now, we're living out of (sharing) my sister's old 12x12 bedroom in my Dad's house.
