I got some rims in a trade and they are a little beat up. I am going to paint them but I had a few questions about prep.
1. Can I use bondo? (probably a stupid question) There is a decent ammount of curb rash.
2. What kind of sandpaper, and other materials am I going to need.
3. Any tips or tricks you all might have for me.:goodjob:

first things first NO u cannot use bondo on ur wheels. only way to fix curb rash it to take the rim to a wheel shop and let them repair which cost a lot of $$$. on the passenger side rim on my car there is a significant amout of curb rash from privious owner, which is not even noticable once i painted the wheels. only way u will notice the curb rash is if u are up close to the rim.
second here is a link with the steps i took to paint my wheels and the came out great. Good Luck:goodjob:
