its labeled bo(backwards R)at but if you look closely along the edge of the CD it says like copyright htis and that... otherwise it looks soooooooooo much like a burnt CD labelled with a sharpie haha ingenious if you ask me.

shit...i bought the dvd brand new and when me and my girl got back home to watch it....i thought someone bootlegged it and sold it off like that. I was mad for a second...thing is once you have the DVD in and the Menu screen is on, it makes you want to believe even more that its a bootleg. Funny shit though

After watching it, I sold the DVD back on ebay and got this message from the buyer...




You sold me a copy of the Borat DVD and I want ALL my money back! I will give you three days to return my entire payment or I will be forced to report you to both ebay and the police. Selling bootleg DVD's is a criminal offense.

The DVD is made to look like a bootleg version. I had the same reaction when I bought it. Look at it real close you will see that it a real one. It looks like it's written in sharpie by it's the way it is made. This is a real version, ask around if you have a friend that has the Borat DVD also and they will tell you that it is supposed to look like that.





Thank you for your reply. I will do more research and verify what you say. I do prefer to recycle at every chance, which was why I loved buying something someone else had viewed. I will get back with you in a day or so, so I will put my request on hold for the time being!

I am apologizing out my ears! Thank you for your kind reply. I have only bought a few DVD's from ebay and had a very bad experience with one and failed to receive another. I have had good experiences with DVDs, and this will probably outweigh my two bad ones! So from now on I will have a bit more faith!
