The Sky Turbo

Took some pics today. Car was filthy, it rained last night. More mods to come once the aftermarket comes along. Smoked taillights, changed badges from red to black, removed sky badging and redline badge from rear. SMS 10 spoke chrome wheels. Quad tip magnaflow, yada yada. Theres some bling under the hood, but I didnt take any pictures. Comments appreciated. Looking to get an idea of where I want to go with the car, some black or gunmetal IForged wheels are next with a polished lip :goodjob:

Damn, back looks nice as hell with the taillight tint. How do you like the car though? I've heard the manual transmissions in those have problems.

I love it. Handles like nothing I've ever driven, absolutely incredible. I can't wait to get some race rubber and an aggresive alignment on it to see what it can really do. Drives real smooth for being as stiff as it is, transmission's been flawless so far, haven't heard anything about them on the sky forums really.

car looks great minus the ricey plate surround...I was tempted to get one but went another direction...I have owned 2 Saturn's in the past and haven't been impressed with them as of recent until the Sky came out...have fun with the car...

:goodjob: love the tails on it and rebadging. Looks pretty nasty from the back! I think I'm gonna go with a 38% tint on the tails on the X-fire. Very nice!

If you used punctuation, it would be so much easier to answer your questions.

Pretty much all cars have standard wheels available as well as a set or maybe many sets you can choose from to upgrade, for a fee of course.

The stock wheels of the Sky Redline look like those, but are not chrome. You can upgrade to the chrome version you show or you can go further and upgrade to the even more showy chrome wheels on the car in the first post.

oh ok got ya i didnt realize the wheels that he had on there were a factory option either way i dont like em and the ones i put up are the standard wheels for both the regualr sky and red line

Yeap, one slip of the hand off of the shifter and it's Dr Pepper for everyone, all over the center console, broken cup holder and pissed off GF.

I'm not a baller extraoordinaire yet. Maybe I'll have some $$ for baller rims like te37s in gunmetal in a year when I'm back from iraq for good, haha.

FWIW theres a long long (4-6 month) wait on ordering one of these. This car was sitting at the dealer, and had the wheels on it. It was a no-brainer.

Nice, any OEM turbocharged platform will respond heartily to mods.

Lose the turbo emblem. If your bling is not a bigger turbo, then that emblem is wider than the stock turbo.
