i tossed a sr20det under the hood of my 98 sentra. i got the engine from jgy last fall and put around 300 miles on it and a rod bearing spun. I am a college kid so money is kinda tight but i need to build a block. does anyone have any suggestions on parts or the best cost effective way to go about this. i really want to be able to use it for daily driving, and get back to work on my new 93 240sx coupe. thanks.

I just built my block...cost me about 3k for parts and labor.

Your best bet would probably be to buy a gti-r long block from jgy and just slap your head on it.
