i guess its been like 2 months that ive been in IA, but i never did this whole new member shindig. anyways: my name is dustin, i own a 01 audi TT 225, quattro and 2 bikes. a 03 sv 650S and a beater called betsy 02 f4ezzy. the whole reason iam on IA is just to meet some people that are somewhat educated on vw/audis since my car has been acting up lately and maybe some people can give advice.

its cool. my b/date is wrong on here anyways. i made a profile real quick and just randomly clicked the b/date. even though its only off by a year and a half some.

about the "TOYS", the TT is used that i got for 16 grand and the bikes arent that pricey either. well the SV was somewhat pricey but not that bad. the honda bike i got from my friend for 600 dollars. it has a bent frame, no fairings, the motor barely runs, and the sprockets missing a lot of teeth. the cage for it cost more than the bike, lol

yea, 1.8t's are fun. but they can be a bitch sometimes to work on. but its worth it i think. so are you trying to get a mk5 gti? i dont know, the new GTI's arent really doing it for me. the front looks awesome but then rear is just BLAH, i dont know. lol. you can get a TT for somewhat cheap now, i went to jim ellis audi and they had a 180 FWD tt for about 15grand. it was in awesome condition. well good luck with selling your car and finding a new one. just one advice if you wanna take it, i have had bad experience with gosset VW, my sister also. gossett vw sucks, just my :2cents:

well it depends. they came with either the 2.8 V6 or 1.8T, newer A4's come with the 3.0 V6 or 2.0T. i dont think audi has the diesel motors here in the states. shame

yup, Gossett sucks. they ripped me off when i bought my jetta GLI there. it was an 03 jetta GLI with the vr6 and six speed. well that shit was sopposed to be certified pre-owned (with warranty). 1 1/2 week into owning the car i noticed whenever i get on it real hard the clutch would slip. took it there to let them check it out. they said warranty wouldnt cover it since it is a wear and tear item, well no fucking shit sherlock it is a wear and tear item but shit i had the car for a week and a half. that shit should be covered. but they wouldnt do anything saying that i should of taken it back as soon as i bought the car. soo yea screw them, traded in the jetta at jim ellis and got my TT :bump:
