I just got mine and am now cocked, locked, and ready to rock. Who else has one? Also, has anyone heard about the new law where you can now carry chambered as long as it is in the console of the car?

Be over 21. Have zero felonies and, I believe, misdemeanors. Mainly, you need to pass a background check. Later, QD.

Take a cashiers check for $22 to the magistrate court of the county you live in and fill out the app. Then you have to have your finger prints taken at the sheriffs dept, this costs $20. Then you wait 2-3 months while the G.B.I. and the F.B.I. does their checks, then you get your CCW

You may not get a very good response on this topic. The people who took the time to get a concealed carry permit probably don't want to go and advertise that fact on an open forum like this.

Wow. You need to learn some laws. Now. I suggest everyone who has any questions going to georgiapacking.org. It has all the updated laws, procedures, and court cases.

It's a "GFL", meaning Georgia Firearms License.

Concealed Carry aplies in most states, however Georgia is one of the "open carry" states where you can open carry your gun if you'd like.

A Federal LEO told me one time that stuck with me, "What good is a gun without a round in the chamber?"

Never had need for one because 98.9% of the people im always with are STRAPED, in some terms, Or cary a firearm.
