Well this past weekend my and DaKilla4Eva (Davis) painted my wheels, im pretty surprised on how the came out.The wheels actually turned out a lot better then i thought they would. We started painting these wheels on this past sunday at about 3PM and finished at about 11:30PM. Let me know what ya'll think.:goodjob:

Steps I took to paint the wheels.
First i wet sanded the entire rim with 220 Grit. After that i taped off wheel, then used a High Build Primer (Really good for sanding & you only need 1 coat), then i wet sanded the primered wheels with 400 Grit to get it nice and smooth. Then used Dupli Color wheel paint. First 2 coats were applyed lightly!!! last 2 were applyed thick.

Make sure u follow the drying instructions on the back of the paint and primer cans, for best results.

The wheels have a few scratchs around the lugs from putting them back on the car but those will be fixed this weekened. Actually thinking about leaving the off, but not sure.

Before: Pics of me and some friends, before i was dropped and painted the wheels.

well in the front it's not that noticable but it is in the rear and seein it in person, if u notice all stock celicas have that fugly neon stance but wit the hotchkis springs they kinda level out.

yeah i hate looking a celicas wit euros/altezzas, but this weekend im smoking out the tail lights and amber side markers. so be on the look out for more updates.

Eh blue cars with black wheels look strange to me.

But w/e, as long as you like them.

blackTc wat stock rim did u have? if they are the single spoke 17's i've been looking for some. if u still have them i might take them off ur hads if there in good condition. im not worried about the paint cuz ill sand them down and repaint them.
