Kelly's(chante's) dad had a heart attack this morning, they flew him down to St josephs, i'm on my way there now... but if you could keep him in your prayers and thoughts.. and the family as well (chante is a daddies girl if i've ever seen one, so this is hard on her) He's had either one or two in the past and had a couple stints(spl?) put in... i think the one today was mild.. i'm not sure of details yet...

but thank you in advance. i'll try to keep u updated.

Update:

As soon as he got to St. Joseph's they put a stint in and repaired one of the others that they had put in previously. (He has 5 altogether) This is his 3rd heart attack and he said it was for sure the most painful. If mom hadn't got him to the ER when she did, it could've been a lot worse because it was the main artery that was blocked. We just left (so mom would have a better chance staying back there with him in the vascular unit). He was amazed at how much better he felt already & it was definitely a wake up call to really pay more attention to what he eats. They're a little concerned about his blood sugar but other than that things are looking up. Thanks so much guys!

yeah, my dad's best friend just died like a week ago from one... (but he's had heart problems/attacks for as long as i can remember...) my dad had one in november... this stuff is serious.. and scary..

anyways an update on her dad, from about 4 oclock on yesterday afternoon, he stayed in pain.. couldn't eat.. stuff like that when we got back over there the nurse gave him some more morphine and said that the pain is pretty common and that his heart patters were normal so unless they spiked that everything is as should be... but from what kelly tells me he basically stayed in pain most of the night... so he still needs your thoughts and prayers.. thanks guys! reps to those that i can by the way...

knew of a few people who suffered heart attacks, but i know how painful it is to lose your father, especially at a young age(6), so i hope he continues to pull through

Kells huh? Hmmm... Thanks lil will :D

Anyways, he called me this morning seeming chipper and ready to come home. They did tell him he may be diabetic so they're sending him home with insulin. That sucks but at least we know now and can keep it under control. He's now on a STRICT diet that we're gonna make him stick to.

I'll be picking him up today. Thank God

Thanks again guys. It really does mean a lot.

Yep, glad he's comin home.

He's gotta start eating better (he'll drink a 2 liter of coke a night). No more cokes, limited carbs, etc etc etc...
He's only 48 and this was his 3rd heartattack. No more of that

good god. yea you all have to look out for him that coke in itself is a killer, not even knowing what else he was eating.

Well... I'm sitting here at St. Joseph's. Hopefully we can leave soon... His blood sugar has still been high. We're waiting to hear from the doctor but I'm sure they'll let him go. He's been up walking around and is feeling better than ever.

Thanks guys!
