so what was going on 85N Saturday?

we were at the V @ 11:30 meeting other starion folks and heard tons of motorcycles - walked to thefence - and in the HOV lane for almost a good half hour motorcycles, from harleys to street bikes to police bikes drove by, then followed by police cruisers and interceptors

and then 85N came led by about 4 HERO units - one of them saying PACE TRUCK DO NOT PASS

I figure it was a ride to fallen motorcycle cops or something, or maybe to fallen motorcyclists ( since I've also noticed alot of DOT highway signs have been mentioning motorcycles in them )

Ive noticed that about the big light up traffic signs and the motorcycles. Bike week or somethin maybe?

there was a big bike ralley in cherokee NC.. maybe they were heading that way

all i know is that sat. night i heard a pack of sportbikes on 85 from my apt. and it sounded like a fucking F1 race going up I-85.
