Yep. If I wasnt selling my 240sx, it would have been the next thing in since I'm only aiming for 300whp max. So even though the 3071 I'm running now does the job, I know the 2871 would workout for my needs without overkill.

Ok, it's been used as a paper weight for some time.

I'm describing the turbo as acurately as I can, but let me be more clear.

It is a new turbo. It's never been used. It's been in the garage for a while but it's new, as in never seen hot gases. I didnt just now take it out the box or off the dealer shelf, but it has never been used in a car to help propel it. I'll keep the word "brand" out to avoid confusion.

then it is NOT new

you can easily see where its meen mounted with gaskets and used on a car.

You are therefore calling me a liar but the new owner forum member "....." can tell you otherwise. Please dont think you're an expert on anything when the truth is far from it.

Anyone that has ever bought anything from me knows that exactly what I've stated is exactly what you get, no BS. Furthermore, I dont sell anything on here to make money off of anybody, I sell it because I've bougth it at one point in time then decided to get rid of it. If I used It, I say so. Forum member "....." got an $1100 NEW turbo for an excellent price and that's also no BS.

Don't listen to those newbies..That is a new turbo with its cast iron turbine housing rusted (which is pretty common if it has been sitting in a humid environment) ..If it has been used, you would see a hint of carbon on the turbine wheel from the exhaust. Even if you were sneaky and shit trying to clean it up with some carbs cleaner (in which I don't think you did), there are other ways to check.
