It can happen, but is not common. There have been no reported instances in this. But one could deduce that if you can be touched(stroking of hair or light brush on the arm) in a way by a spirit, what's to say they can't do more than just touch? Later, QD.

Have you ever seen one. Like something that actualy could be described as a paranormal being? What was your reaction.

Are the people that have reported this type of behavior from paranormal activity self inflicting themselves?? The reason I ask is that, I have seen some documentarys on this and these people belive that it is real....I just didn't know what your take on this was since you have been doing this for quite sometime. I kinda got the feeling they may have had a brush with something "from beyond" but then freaked out and started doing those things to themselves for whatever reason.

That's a good question and one that is addresses quite often when talking about physical encounters. There are more times than not occurrences where someone hurts themselves in the attempt to possibly get away from what they may think they see or felt. Maybe start running and trip on something, or nothing, trying to get away out of fear. Or running through brush and not realizing that they scratched themselves on a briar. When in fear and trying to get away from the source, a lot of times you don't remember or pay attention to your surroundings. Later, QD.

My wife has seen a girl about the same age as our daughter in our house. Her reaction was whoa! Lolol. I have seen one(a soldier on horse) in Jonesboro at a Civil War cemetery. At first I thought it was a dog until I realized the size of what I was looking at and shape. It was clear as to what it was. Later, QD.

I can understand that type of thing...if you get the crap scared out of you..your out not caring about what the hell you run into...you just want out. But I was refering more to something that might happen to you in a house where someone has stated that shit started moving and that it scared the person so much that it made them go a little :screwy: and then the victim themselves inflicts harm on themselves out of pure craziness....Not that it can't physically happen, just as you said....I just think most of the cases, the folks have been scared so badly that they loose their marbles and start doing stuff to themselves. I guess that is why the call it the "un-known"...and perhaps we may never know........

I just think if you are in that position, especially what you do, upmost respect and distance will more often reward you with a good experience vs angering whatever is there and then it "unleashing the beast" on you!! LOL...Seems like calm, cool, and collective is the only way to go if in that situation.

Yes. You see/hear people getting all riled up and running away from something they see or hear. I head straight for it, cautiously. I'm there to get something. How the hail are you going to get something if, when it appears, you run from it? Lolol. Later, QD.

The prison I work at was a youth facility at one point and time and during a riot of sorts many years ago an officer and a 14 year old boy trying to protect that officer were killed by the rest of the residents of the pod. Those of us that work have had occurences with both of their spirits to say. The officer smoked cigars constantly and from time to time you get a odor of very strong cigar smoke out of nowhere. About a month ago I was our perimeter officer and I was doing a security check on one of our building and I was on the second floor checking some of the storage areas and I looked in one of doors and BAM, there was a kid dribbling a basketball across the middle of the room, noise of the ball bouncing and all. At first I was like, no way, but then I stood there and looked and that mother fucker looked right back at me and the more I stood there, the clearer he became and closer he seemed to be to me. I backed away and left quickly haha.

That happens so many times you couldn't begin to count. Especially in video and picture. Sometimes you want so bad to see something that mistake a leaf turned funny into a hand or face or something. Later, QD.

Not knowingly. We always talk to them as in asking questions and stuff. If we get answers, we don't know it. Until we hear the playback on DVR. Our medium "talks" with them, though, when they are present. Later, QD.

holy fuck, I didn't make it past the baby crying one haha, i got cold chills, what a pussy I am.
some of this type of shit can be explained by electromagnetic fields, which can cause a lack of melatonin in the brain. The lack of melatonin can cause micro siezures in the right lobe of the brain which will cause hallucinations.
another cause of such experiences is infrasound which can affect the ear or eyes, causing sounds or perceived movements that dont actually exist.
as for hearing shit on a recording that wasnt audible at the time the recording was done, some of can be explained by radio interference. signals can be trapped or passed through any two pieces of metal. Even fences are known to spark transmissions, although rare. So in theory if you hear something in the white noise, it could be something that was broadcast over a radio signal somewhere in the world, and becomes audible when listening closely to the recording.

Or this could be the ramblings of a non-believer. It's ok by me. I never try to convince people. I offer what I have, know my situation that is was recorded and let the viewer/listener decide. Also, I don't hate on anyone who doesn't believe. Later, QD.
well, I consider myself a believer in the paranormal. I also look into possible explanations for what is being experienced. My post should have been preceeded with "could this be explained by" so it would sound less like my personal belief/findings, and more like a plausible answer for some cases.

Well, if you knew me, you would know that I didn't just start doing this last week. I have been in this for about 7 years now and don't just throw everything I "get" into the "It's a ghost" pile. I don't need attention. I have proven myself that by turning down the Montel Williams show a couple of years ago. My audio is what it is. Not of our world. And if you believe, very cool. Later, QD.
yeah bro, no personal attacks or anything intended, just some possibilities. Have you used such tools in your research? tools to detect EMF, or infrasound in potential "hot spots"? If not do you intend on ever trying it?

I do own an EMF detector. It has come in handy. Last time I was using it was the week before Halloween last year. A newspaper reporter and photographer were at the house interviewing me for a Halloween feature with ghosthunting. The photographer was wanting to take pics of my equipment and I was showing him the EMF reader. All of a sudden, it went off in an area where it had never gone off. Not 30 seconds after it started alerting, my 4 year old came running in and told us that her (imaginary) friend had just ran in and she was chasing her. She said her "friend" was standing right next to us watching us. She then ran back outside and, about a minute later, the detector shut down. My daughter ran back in saying her "friend" had just ran out and into the woods. Later, QD.

we are adult facility and in order for a kid to get into that room they would have to figure out a way across two fences with razor wire at both top and bottom, up 2 stories into windows that are locked from the inside. I guess hypothetically speaking it could have been a kid that I left stranded, but if it was I imagine they would have been missing a limb and be extremely blood from the fences. :D
