So was this block used after being bored out? cuz if it was bored out and not ran, i dont see how this lip from carbon buildup is still here

Used the block for 500miles on the break in on the engine, Was going to boost the engine but came accross a sweet deal on another car that I could not pass, Decided to work on the other car instead. Also just finished my M3 swap in my BMW 3series and now thinking about boosting it. I sold the JE pistons, eagle rods and all the high dollar parts to a friend of mind. 2 projects good, but 3 way too many.
