That's the best way. What I do. You don't even have to make them. You can go download them at other places. Later, QD.

All you need is a data cable, and Micro SD card and limewire.... and bang...

If your phone takes Micro cards and has a data cable then your good..
Actually, You might not need a data cable...I have a laptop and just plug in my card into my laptop and start ripping music....

really simple shit.

I wish I could do that. But I got a data cable off Ebay for &20 shipped and I'm good to go with pics, games, wallpaper, screen savers, ringtones and uploading/downloading pics from the camera. Later, QD.

Also you can send them via bluetooth I believe. That's how my roommate gets all his ringtones, he just sends it from a friends phone to his phone. My phone isnt able to receive data via bluetooth so I don't know how it works.

No dude... Just go to www.mobile17.com

It uploads songs you've downloaded on your computer (limewire, kazaa, possibly itunes...) It's awesome. :goodjob:

u can customize your own 40 second ringtone(maybe more if ur phone is compatible) it's completely free.. u pick a beginning point and end point for your own ringtone..

Reps for Kelly and Killer. I am trying that now. I was getting sick of paying $3 for a ringtone. So thanks.

yeah.. i don't even fool with it.. kelly makes them for her and for me... and just sends them too me...

but the quality is always good..

another thing is with verizon u can't just put songs on the sd cards and save them as ringtones (atleast on the phones i've had u can't)

Thanks Kyle (aka not killer).

The best time it do it is in the morning though cuz no one else is uploading them. Otherwise you'll prob have to wait a couple hours to get them...

There are so many ways to get around paying for ringtones with any carrier. That link kelly posted is pretty useful :goodjob:

But there are also plenty of ways to get programs and ringtones and everything for free. GSM phones FTW, especially when you know someone that works for the company. For example, whenever my gf wants anything, I put my SIM card and she can download whatever she wants for free. And sometimes some of those games are like $20.

Yeah it didnt take me too long to download it. Maybe 30 minutes before it was sent to my phone. Fairly decent quality. Overall good stuff.
