cash on his part
I never gave a trade thought til the guy that lives near me offered it
His car needs some work but i think it would be worth more in the long run...
Need a second opinion:goodjob:

so you have an eg with an h22 swap
and you wanna trade it for a 00 si with b16 and needs lots of body work? Plus you don't know exactly what is wrong with the motor...could crap out on you 5 minutes after the trade.
I say no

Figure out what is actually wrong with the motor. How hard would it be to fix?

I say keep your car, unless you want a new project.

There is no frame damage on his car just needs those few things.
It has a cf hood and he offered 900 on top of his car.
My car has rust on the quarters(minor) roof is faded/ front bumper cut for turbo
holes in the trunk where there was a 3pc wing. minor 2nd gear grind.
I'm just looking at the overall resale.
thanks for the replies

You have to think that is a Authentic SI original motor. You can put it back together and sell it for a lot more than what you would sell you hatch for. If you are willing to do the down time.

i agree, if you're thinking of reselling and can do the work, go with the SI, if you are keeping either, I'd keep the hatch.
