Selling an HP Pavilion Desktop, This computer has been awesome, never gave a single issue except one current issue, the dvd burner/cd burner doesnt burn anymore. just trying to move it to make way for the new MAC on the way. A new burner is 50$ shipped from tiger direct. I am wanting 350$ with the burner installed, or ill sell it for 300 without a new burner and you can put one in, its fairly Easy. Has a secondary cd-rom underneith the burner as well. It has vista and it is a legal install but i cant supply the disc because its a multi license business copy so if you ever have to do a system restore, you will have Windows XP. 706-346-6024 Prices are OBO

you may want to try like $300-$350 New desktops and laptops are routinely $400-$600 these days, with dual core etc.

yeah prolly an e machine, its definatly negotiable but i stare at computers all day long i know what they are worth.

the monitor alone is 100, the tower is not much more, i wont seperate but people can throw offers if they want.

newegg.com you could build that pc for about 400 off there. not even a duel core, not a very good vid card.

no offense, your asking a little to much.

im basically asking 400 for everything, you cant buy a system with an lcd monitor for that much. someone make an offer, need it gone.

You are certainly welcome to comment on my price for something I'm selling if you have legitimate reasons for why it's higher than it should be. I think alot of people comment on prices in these threads because they are looking out for fellow IA members. As for those posts that just say it's too high and doesn't have legitimate reasons why, those need to go. But if I'm familiar with a particular product that someone's selling and know what a fair price should be, I certainly don't want a fellow IA member to pay more than they have to for it. It's better for everyone in the long run. How would you feel if you just bought something on here and then find out that you paid $100 more than you should have for it. You would have wanted someone to comment on the product saying what it should have cost.

the system you quotes is still $200 or more than my bottom dollar so you have no fucking clue, it would be different if i was a retail store. LOL.
