550 to own it right? Not renting? Sounds good to me... Depending on the condition of the place and location.

I'm also about to buy a house (when i get back to the states in Oct.) and i was thinking that a town house would be a lot cheaper than a real house. I still haven't made up my mind yet. I'd rather have a house but a town house is usually cheaper.

Werd! Even 30 yr old apts in the ghetto cost more than that.

ah, yes but with the extra money we can do more when we get out of the sticks and head to town. i used to live right off of barrett and i never did shit during the week anyway. usually just went to buckhead on weekends and was paying 755 for a 2 bedroom. fuck that. i live 45 minutes (grandma drivin) from there now and pay 300 dollars less a month and make like $4.00 more per hour where i work close to home. i wouldnt trade back.

I have a condo for sale at Roswell Rd. and the River.

I always have connections to rental and purchase properties all over. My mother is a RE agent, my wife is an appraiser, my brother is an insurance agent, and of course I own a mortgage co.....so, If I don't have it personally, I certainly can get one of my guys to find it for you. ;)

BTW, $550 for a 2/1.5 is very good, unless location is terrible. You can buy and get a payment to be that low, but it's not likely to include assoc. fees either. Those can be as high as $300 more a month or more. Just FYI.
