I'm looking for something new.

I've given up on the Altima just because I've come to sad realization that it's not going to get any faster N/A and I don't want to spend the money on boosting it or even spraying it. So I figured I would take another route.

Any suggestions fellas/Ladies?

I'm thinkin' about following in Justin's footsteps and getting a Sentra Spec-V.

And as much as it pains me to say it, I've also considered finding a 94-98 Honda Accord Coupe or Sedan and going for it from there.

Any other ideas?

RWD for the win. really depends what you want though. something just for the 1320? something for autoX? something for road course? something just to look good and cruise in?

Sentras are freakin fun in autoX and road course

Tegs are cheap to upgrade and the JDM front end is pure hawtness (I would get an earlier year and save cash if you go that route)

S14s are pretty expensive to make fast..(SR or KAT) and the looks are limited unless you go kouki or silvia.. I have spent a ton of money on mine and im no where near done....

Accord v6 coupes aree sweet cars that look good with minimal mods and decently quick for cheap with spray.

Yeah, I'm looking for something that's fun to drive. AutoX has peeked my interest as well, but for the most part it's something that I cruise through Atlanta and have a bit of fun down I-75 without worrying about it.

teg can give you an all around what you want. good for autoX, good if you want to do the JDM conversion, good for cruise, good for boost, good for you haha

do it to it

Why not pick up one of The JDM cars i got like A FD3S or a GTST R32. I think it would be fat to see a built up Pulsar GTiR

I hate to say it, but the Integra probably will have the best aftermarket support.

I have a SpecV (and an S13) and have been around a few S14s. The SpecV is an AWESOME daily driver. Ours is making over 170whp (and 175ft-lbs), has 80,000mi, and gets 24/28mpg approx. The only things that have gone bad were a MAF (CAI plus filled motor mounts plus balance shafts removed = lots of vibration and eventual MAF death), and the ECU (from a recall).

Otherwise, the car is awesome. Handling-wise, it'll run circles around most of the cars on the road (I've beat a TON of cars in AutoX with it....vettes, Miatas, Minis, etc). The Spec V's OEM Helical LSD and 6spd make that thing kick ass.

HOWEVER....if you don't want to swap or build the motor, you're limited to about 180whp with all of the bolt-ons.

The S14 is also pretty limited until you swap the motor (or build a KA-T). But you can get a full SR20DET motorset for less than $2500. So you could basically build a S14 with SR, suspension, and wheels/tires for less than what a Spec V costs. Then you have a turbo car that is easily upgradeable to >300whp.

Hope that helped a little.

Hondas: played out

Integras: there's a mess of them, plenty of fast ones too

240's: posterchild for played out

Spec V: Well, you know where my vote went. There aren't many running around, and
there really aren't (m)any really fast ones (mine excluded, once the turbo
goes back on) You actually have to work to make one quick because the
aftermarket is laughable for the b15, that's why/how I got my foot in the door
by designing a turbo kit for it, and you know I'll try and get you the hook up.

there are honestly only about 150-200 boosted spec v's in North america, how many boosted Integras, accords, and 240's are there?

Yeah, more than likely I'll stay within the family and pick up a Spec V, no I just have to either get rid of the Altima or just buy it off, haven't decided on what I want to do with it yet. Only because if I want to boost the Spec V (Like there is any doubt) I'm going need something to ride around in.

JB you know Treadstone has a Scion kit that'll put you around the 300whp mark, and it's got to be WAY less than anything that says TRD on it
