i fucked up!!!!!!!!! need help asap racin for titles aginst a 6 sec promod.

ok i poped off to my dad about how my 4 cylinder could outrun his race car.i have a stock 06 gixxer 1k he has a full blown drag car tubbed and narrowed big block 40k invested.it weighs 3400lbs with out a driver full electroinc's brake and all.i could probly take him in the 1/4 but he wants to race me in the 1/8 mile.it runs 6.50's last time out but that was about 2 1/2 years ago.and does .98-1.00 short times.bested a 6.20@118 but isnt the most consistint car in the world.i need to know what a stock 06 gixxer 1k runs in the 1/8.also what do u guy's think my chance's are. i think i put my foot in my mouth and i'm going to loose my bike.i just hope he looses intrest and backs out on me.

Race him on cold pavement, not a prepped track. You want him to blow his tires off. If he hooks, it's over. You've got to get in front, and stay there.
I believe that you should run around a 6.5 in the 1/8.

One of my boys i ride with all the time has a dropped , streched 06 gsxr 1K and he runs consistent 9.6's - 9.8's ..He has a Power commander , exhaust , and not sure about engine work or not ...That is a qaurter mile by the way

I got some lowering links, strap and modified kickstand if interested.....came off of my K5 GSX-R 1000.........wasn't my style of riding but it was quite interesting to snap the throttle from a dead stop and the front wheel barely come off the ground.
