Any reputable company, i.e. Skunk2, B&M. Just don't get an ebay special.

Get an Ebay special, I've used mine for a couple years now and I drive it pretty hard. No problems

Skunk 2 FTL!!! I had that shit orginally in my CRX. Drove it like a grandma and the bitch broke in half. Had to find a trucker with a drill. Drilled straight into it and hammered a phillips head screwdriver in it so I could shift it.

Got to looking at it later....some shit ass low grade pot metal garbage.

Replaced with a shit ass low grade APC for now....eventually will be B&M once my car is pretty lol

Wow that really sucks, I've never heard of that happening. I had one and drove it hard as hell. Maybe it broke because you weren't giving it attention :lmfao:

But to answer your question GSRteg, I'm gonna go with Skunk2. I have a shifter from Pepboys in my integra because it was in there when I bought it, but I had an S2 shifter in my civic and loved it. The throw is perfect and when matched with the S2 counterweighted knob, it's smooth as silk. Very well worth the money IMO for the both of them.

Home made custom fab FTW! Cut an OEM shifter with a hacksaw halfway between the ball and linkage and welded on a piece of stock withe the same inside diameter as the outside of the original shifter...about 60% less throw and drove the hell out of it for years with no problems.

Now I'd take this road race shifter over any "short shifter" made: http://www.fastlineperformance.com/shifter.htm Chicks like them bigger anyways :D
