I am currently a Network Administrator for an OEM trim manufacturer. There are about 150 pcs, 14-15 servers ( Server 2000/2003; Novell; SQL Server; Lotus Notes, etc.), Cisco VoIP, 3com switches, tons of software apps and I am the only person doing it. I started as help desk working with someone and they were still looking for a NetAdmin. Shortly after I started, the other guy quit, so I got put in charge of everything ( for the last 7 months or so). I've done well at it, although it is VERY stressful and I'm the only one. Raise time comes around and their still trying to pay me Help Desk type pay even while I'm the network administrator and i'm all of the help (no one works with me). I am looking for anything else, must pay well.
I got to where I'm at because I'm a very hard worker, and my bosses say they really appreciate the hard work, but that doesn't pay my bills, money does. I'm open to most any jobs. I have a resume. Post up if you know of anything.
