Ride In Val's Memory

Okay I just spoke with Tray's sister and she has informed me that Tray prefers to just have one ride instead of the ride around 285 and then the one going to the track for Import Showdown (I think thats the name of it) in a few weeks.

So what Tray would like is for just one big ride to Import Showdown. Now I know not everyone will be able to make this ride, Me included so I am not sure where you all want to arrange a meet up for this or meet time, etc.

So please post up and get a time and meet location set up and make this a ride in Vals honor and make her look down and smile.

This is one event she was very excited to attend and was getting her car ready for this, so it is fitting that this is the ride in her memory. The track will also in her honor hold a moment of silence and have special shirts for her as well.

Please anyone who can attend please make it count!!!

In fact, what we have done in years past is meet up at the Varsity Downtown at 7:30am (just an idea)

We will be doing a moment of Silence for her right before the finals of the AWD/RWD class. ;) There will also be a memorial in her honor, "Val for President" will be added to the tshirts and we will be collecting donations in her honor for the Atlanta Humane Society.

Trey, if you have any objections or anything you would like to add, please let me know.

We are excited to have an oppertunity to help her friends and family celebrate her life.

Us Supra guys have a ride Sunday April 22nd planned. It's going to be more of a cruise than ride, but just wanted to throw it out to you guys.

More than welcome to come to my house afterwards for some grilling and sharing memories.

Just wanted to throw that out there. Either way, I will be wherever it will be at. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

It looks like there are possibly two memory rides being planned.

One for the ride down to Import Showdown, and one being organized by the Supra guys.

I'd like to thank everyone for coming out today. The Ride for Val was amazing! So many people who came. I would say 30 or more people drove to the race track together.

I'd also like to thank Tracy for making stickers for us. It was very nice of her to do that on her busy schedule.
