12 second Nissan NX2000 with NOS

I'm posting this for a friend of mine whose got a 12 second NX2000 for sale. The fastest pass so far on this car was 12.9 @ 104 mph with a 1.862 60'.

I would characterize this car as a race car but it can be street driven. It is VERY dependable and more importantly, MUY RAPIDO :) !!! Drive it to school, drive it to work, take it to the track, do some high 12 - low 13 second passes, drive it back home, take it to the emissions stations and pass all the emissions and safety checks.

Other information:

The body is mostly straight on the outside with minor dents, and cancer for it's age, and the car has some cancer spots in wheel wells etc. Alltogether it would take about $500 worth of body work to get 100%. It's very, very fast to say the least and the motor really comes alive with the nitrous. The car does low 13s consistently with the fastest run to date being the 12.9 done here in the ATL at the Friday nights grudge matchups at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA.

The car will be cleaned up for the new owner and the horn replaced. Pick it up, drive it home, take it to the track and surprise the competition.

Yep, there's a red one with black hood and black one (this one) with red hood. It's not my car so as for the reason with the swapped hoods I'm not sure. Yep, I'm black and yes I have an accent, no not the same guy. The owner of this car has a NY accent. Very few people on here have ever met me as I very very very rarely come out. I dont street race anymore that's waaaayyy past me now, only racing I do is at the track period.

He wanted a extremely slow roll or from a dig, but was willing to give the Nissan a couple cars. After about 30min. or so still no race so all the Nissan guy's friends and himself were saying they "would take any Mustang in the parking lot from a high roll... but no one would with a Mustang cause they're all pussies and don't run from a roll." I told them I would take them up on their offer for $500, and one guy told me he could get him to do it for $250. I told him cool, then the other mustang owner's friend got mad because I was getting in on his race. I didnt say anything after that to the Nissan friend but he never came back up to me.... i stood around for another 45min or so... still nobody raced, this is why i never goto Gwinnett. The only people that will race are people that hustle, even with slower cars....

but im sure the car is alright, 12.9 is respectable in my book from a car like that... bump

Yep, the new project is mean, and Very Very Loud!!!!. So far I guess it's now known that it would be a TSURU with a VVL motor of some sort on boost. Similar setups have proven to be very potent on the street and track.


On another note, the NX2000 is still available for sale. Buy it, take it to Silver dollar next week and kick some serious a**. Drive it there and back, you won't have any regret. The car was built well with street, track performance and reliability in mind.
